Job Rename (2) Select job rename (press 2) Rename the file o Highlight the letters to be renamed o Letters o For numbers- press shift Press enter to return to job menu Press ESC (2x) to go to main menu 5. Press F1 (MEAS) Select Chord Occ. Orientation > Press 1( Occ. Coordinate) Select 1= Under Pt# put T1 Set instrument height = 1.85 or measure the instrument using the rod Assume coordinate (N=20000, E=20000, Elevation=100) Press F3 (Record) 6. Select 1 (Azimuth) Enter 0 for azimuth, put the height of the prism if necessary (or reset rod height every change in rod height) Press F4 (OK) Select measure (2), sight your station/ sideshot then press REC. Enter PT# (side shot numbering) Press OK For the next stations press target (Tgt. H) to change the prism height press OK to terminate. 7. SIGHT S1 Press measure then press record 8. Sight S2 Press measure then press record 9. T2: Set the instrument Press F4 (enter) Select occupied coordinate by setting S2 to T2 then record Back sight by setting S2 Press READ (enter) Press OK/ REC 10. Next station Sight (S1), press measure then press RECORD the rename point #1 to S1 then OK. 11. Repeat #10 12. Repeat #10 13. Moving to T2 14. Then Check Data ESC Find REC on the menu Press F4 then select 5 (view) Then enter to view data 15. Download the data using notepad. 16. Copy the Data to Excel, arrange text to column 17. Change the arrangement of the data from Northing- Easting to Easting- Northing by transferring the column 18. Combine the data with comma(,) 19. Copy and paste the data in AUTOCAD by drawing line and terminating the command by close “C” ENTER. 20. All lines should be generated.
