Interview questions with Karla Perez

1) How long have you worked here at Erwin High School Teacher as a Health Science

teacher?

I have been at Erwin since they opened doors in 2009 to teach the Allied Health Programs.

2) Where did you go to school?

I attended UNC-Charlotte and completed the ADN Nursing program with AB-Tech in 1998.

In my RN career, I have worked in the hospital setting in both Respiratory & Cardiac along

with a private OBGYN practice.

3)How was the transition from an RN to a school teacher

Transitioning from the RN role to a teacher has been exciting and rewarding. I love it!!

Besides the role I serve at Erwin, I find much joy in teaching a ladies Sunday school class at

my church.

4)Do you have children?

God has blessed us with two precious daughters
