Critical Care Nurse Practitioner
Interested in becoming a nurse practitioner
Shadowed NP on night shift that covers the medical ICU, neuro ICU and helps in the
emergency department
Observed initial assessments of patients that were being admitted from the
emergency department
Saw the process of determining whether a patient needs to be admitted to the ICU
Enhanced my knowledge of what a nurse practitioner does when working in the
hospital
