03) In a brief paragraph, describe the elements of Engineering you want to study at
The Cooper Union.
With my background in the natural sciences, the chemical field of
engineering holds the most interest. For as long as I can remember, Ive always
imagined myself becoming a doctor, a surgeon, a pediatrician, or something related
to the medical field. Although, for the past several years, Ive imagined myself as
someone who more frequently works in a lab designing, researching, and
manipulating substances that would fuel our medical system today. With chemical
engineering, I would not only be able to learn to understand the extensive fields of
chemistry, but ultimately be able to help modify the basic building blocks of life.
04) Please attach a student resume listing all honors and awards and any extra-
curricular activities.
See attached paper included with questionnaire.
05) What are your current career objectives and how do you believe studying The
Cooper Union will assist you in achieving them?
Currently, I plan on studying laboratory sciences in order to make further
developments within the scientific community. Studying at The Cooper Union would
serve as a prime basis for the start of this career. By learning chemical engineering, I
would learn the necessary tools required to make this goal come alive.
06) List courses you are currently taking or will be take during this academic year
and your SAT 1 and 2 scores.

07) Describe all scholarly areas of special interest you are now studying, either in
school or own your own.
As part of my major requirements, AP Psychology, Human Anatomy, and
Genetics have been the subjects I have to take for my senior year of high school. All
three subjects are actually special interests of mine because they have always been
the subjects Ive dreamed of majoring in college growing up. Taking AP Biology last
year has also kindled a spark of interest in me because it gave me extensive
knowledge of know our bodies actually work.
08) Which subjects are your most and least favorite and why?
Any subject resembling science has always fascinated me. For as long as I can
remember, the thought of understanding ourselves, our interactions to the world,
and the world itself, has always excited me on an academic level. Mathematics too
earns some of my interest because it gives me those feelings of problem-solving
frustration that I learned to love and crave. However, those subjects closely relating
to history or language has never been my strong suit. Economics and Government
are by far the two classes I have least enjoyed throughout my career at Tech. Why?
Learning about Supply and Demand, or Politics have always bored me senseless.
09) Have you ever had a job or a community service activity you really enjoyed?
