Overview:
The candidate will be designing satellite electric propulsion systems, while supporting ACMEs
Satellite Vehicle Engineering division and multiple satellite product lines at the ACME Satellite
Development Center, based in Plano, Texas.

Candidate will perform the following additional activities:

Outlines and defines requirements for rocket propulsion systems.


Defines, coordinates and controls the functional and physical interfaces between the
propulsion system and the vehicle.
Develops specifications and architectural and configuration concepts for associated
vehicle systems to meet customer and regulatory requirements.
Configures and designs propulsion systems to allow for a flawless launch into interstellar
space.
Uses various testing, analysis, modeling and simulation tools to estimate or calculate
system performance.
Define and perform certification tests for propulsion subsystems and components.
Supports Mission Operations.
Works under manager's direction but can make life altering choices.

Basic Qualifications:

Career experience, education, and technical knowledge related to space-based


propulsion systems is required.
Skills with propulsion analysis/design tools, flow modeling plus experience with
propulsion subcomponents (valves, regulators, etc.) required.
Commitment to translating world knowledge to documented processes/procedures and
standards required.
Experience/skills with C++ coding, MATLAB scripting, and Excel.

Degree and typical experience in engineering classification:

Bachelor's and 10 or more years' experience, Master's degree with 5 or more years' experience
or PhD degree with experience. Bachelor, Master or Doctorate of Science degree from an
accredited course of study, in engineering, computer science, mathematics, physics or
chemistry. ABET is the preferred, although not required, accreditation standard.

Required Documents:

Bachelors or Masters Degree in Systems Engineering.


American Engineering License, must be valid since 2015.
Documentation of work experience in Systems Engineering Field
Drivers License, Social Security, Proof of Income and ACii2 Form
TB Test, Tetanus Test and Most Recent Vaccinations
