week we did not have a face-to-face class meeting, but we were assigned to
complete our Webquest assignment. The Webquest was supposed to be based on
our thematic unit. I surrounded my lessons and Webquest around Rattlesnakes. I
have observed that students seem to really enjoy lessons that surround animals. I
really enjoyed this assignment as it gave me an insight of what to expect when I start
teaching and creating lessons. This assignment was not difficult since I had most of
it done, but I did have a few difficulties with Weebly. The site was taking forever to
download documents and post them on my site. I also had a bit of trouble creating
my rubrics. I had to play around with Microsoft Word to finally get it right . Although
I did encounter a few problems I still really enjoyed this assignment. I plan to use
Webquest when I become a teacher since it is a fun and creative way of
incorporating both lessons and technology.
