the beginning of the semester I was a little stunned at all the things we would
have to learn and the assignments we would have to completed by the end of the
semester. I was a little worried about this class since I feel I am not as adequate in
technology as others. As the semester went on I acquired many skills and learned
how to use tools that I can incorporate when I become a teacher. When I was
learning how to use a new technology tool, I would become frustrated because of
the difficulties I would encounter. I would have to play around with the program to
finally learn how it worked. My ideas of technology did not really change. I knew
since the begging of the semester that technology plays a big role on the
development and learning of students. If anything, it reaffirmed my opinion on
incorporating technology into lessons. Using technology engages students to
participate in their own individual learning and it prepares them for the future. As
of now I do not have questions about integrating technology. My professor and
peers where able to give great presentations and lessons about how to properly
incorporate it into the classroom. But I am certain that as technology develops I will
have questions on how to use those technological advances. As technology
continues to progress, it is important that I continue to learn about new programs
so that I can make my lessons as effective and interesting as possible.
