Subject: Childhood trauma and psychological disorders in young adults: A review of recent
literature on their correlation Context Memo

This literature review is about childhood trauma and its effects on the development of
psychological distress. Therere many sections discussing the brain developments and
abnormalities as well. This antecedent experience from childhood can induce negative outcomes
and an onset of psychosis later in life. Theres a section about brain differences comparing
between people who was exposed to abuse to those who was not. The paper also mentions
different types of disorders associated and comorbid with child maltreatment.
