Our advice to anyone trying to take the ORE exam is to study for 4-8 hrs a
day for at least 4-6 months without child/home/work distractions.
- Chap 2 perioperative care table 2.1 (ASA and PARS scale), 2.5 (most
common drug interactions and their significance in oral health care), Local
anethesia and analgesia (do complete)
- chap 27 (do only imporatnt topics, like asthma copd) chap 28 (do alcohol),
chap 30 ( read about syphilis combine with oral patho), chal 31-32 (must
read, look at pictures carefully), chap 34 (cleft lip and palate), chap 35 (read
trigeminal and glossophageal combine with oral patho), chap 44 (if you cant
read the whole of it just do the main drug intractions) , chap 47, chap 50
(only main topics)
. Master Dentistry 1 and 2 (Orthodontics is difficult, you can study from your
undergraduate books)

6. Ethics in dentistry
. Also strongly recommend www.pastest.com, you can find a friend who can
pool in with you and you can share the exam time with them.
. I liked to study with study partners, if you can find someone who matches
your frequency you would really enjoy studying.
