changes are happening at Catalina Foothills Community Schools! In 2017, we are

celebrating an incredible 40 years of serving CFSD families! Our 40th year has already been one
of tremendous growth and change at Community Schools. We have welcomed new staff
members, expanded our programming, and formed new partnerships in the community.

Moving into 2018, we also will be launching a new registration system. Our new user-friendly
registration program will be easier to navigate on both mobile devices and desktop platforms.

As with any new system, there will be a period of adjustment and learning. We strongly suggest
that you set up your account now to avoid a delay on future registration days. Below is a
general description of the steps you will need to take to be set up in the system.

1. You will first need to create a Parent Portal Account with Community Schools.
You will enter the grade your child is currently in.

To create a new account, visit https://cfsd16.org/cscreateaccount and follow the steps.

Please note that you will only be setting up one family account with all students added. If you
need to set up separate parent accounts for the same child, contact the Community Schools
office at 209-7551. Do not attempt this set-up online.

2. Once you have created your family account in our system, you will be able to register
for classes within designated registration time frames. As in the past, Community
Schools will notify you of these registration dates in advance.

To register for classes and programs on registration days, you will need to login to your
Community Schools Parent Portal Account at the following link: https://cfsd16.org/csregister

You will no longer need to create separate accounts for each program. All of the Community
Schools Programs will be accessible through one system (e.g. CARE, K+, Enrichment, VVELC).

We hope that our new system will make the registration process faster and easier for all of our
