Reynaldo Mercado

This project was made using Lightworks. The animation is stop-motion done by myself using figures I
already had or purchased from ebay. The images come from yahoo images, the custom fonts are from
flamingtext.com, and the song from the beginning is Princes of The universe by Queen.

Differences from Conceptualization

No differences, I mentioned to ideas I would use for this project and chose the first one, I also added
that fight scene.

Differences from Design

No differences, I did exactly what I described in the design.

Principles of Design
I used the following 3 principles of design.

-09:Apparent Motion-This video is stop motion, meaning it will have pictures played in rapid
succession to create the illusion of movement.

-18:Cathedral Effect-The ceiling of the set is low promoting detail-oriented thinking.

-130:Storytelling-This video has a plot.

I feel these fit my ideas well but these principles of design could have sufficed as well.

-82:Legibility-The text is made to stand out and be easy to see.

-91:Mnemonic Device-The opening shows the differently colored text with a picture of the character it
represents so that the viewer knows who is talking.

-124:Serial Position Effects-The beginning sets up the plot and introduces the characters, the end
provides closure to a situation.

Room for improvement

The dialogue isn't that good, and the animation was lacking in some places.
