Three Facts in my Own Words

Nurses play an important role for keeping people healthy.


Nurses perform basic exams, or sometimes they might take a patients blood pressure
and temperature.
Nurses must keep records, such as patients charts. They also supervise practical nurses
and other health support staff (help each other out as a team).

Nurses require a lot of physical activity. Nurses may be working with people who have
infectious diseases. Most full time RNs (registered nurses) work for 35-45 hours a week.

Earning: Level of experiences of an Entry Wages are $27.12 hourly, and $56.420 annual. For
the national median income are $31.65 hourly, and $65,830 annual. To earn an extra pay,
you would have to take extra training, or sometimes if nurses have a bachelors degree, they
are more likely to earn extra money than others who have an associate degree or a diploma.

Education and Training: You need a high school diploma, you have to then apply a nursing
program depended on the college. All states require nurses a licensed. Also, you must pass a
national licensing exam after graduating from a nursing program. The other suggested
qualifications are if your continuing on your education, masters and PhD programs in
nursing are available at many colleges. In addition, registered nurses have the option of
earning specialty certification in a number of areas, including gerontology, pediatrics, and
ambulatory care. The suggested high school qualifications for 9th grade is English,
mathematics, biology, physical sciences, social studies- Geography, creative arts,
keyboarding, and health & physical education. For 10th grade you would have to take English,
mathematics, biology, physical sciences, social studies-History, business/ office
administration, and computers. For 11th grade you would have to take English, mathematics,
biology, chemistry, physics, social studies, law & government, business & management/
office administration, and computers. Lastly for 12th grade you would have to take English,
algebra, calculus, anatomy & physiology, biology, chemistry, physics, economics,
psychology, and business & management/ office administration.

8. What I learned from the video is that teamwork, communication, and carrying are important as
scientific knowledge. It not just helps the nurse learn about what its goal, but it also provides the
patients trust worthy in those nurses.
