TRANSLATING METAPHOR
Gideon Toury's framework for the study of metaphor and/in translation (1995: 81-84):
1. Metaphor into 'same' metaphor
2. Metaphor into 'different' metaphor
3. Metaphor into non-metaphor
4. Metaphor into Ø
5. Non-metaphor into metaphor
6. Ø into metaphor

effect of the text? Is it an isolated metaphor or a recurrent one?
b) According to Toury's framework, which procedure has the translator followed in each case?
