government agency (usually CDFA) for sale by the county agricultural commissioner offices are exempt from mill
assessment. Default is NOT Ag Commissioner.
PRODUCT CONDREG_SW Conditional Registration Switch If there is a Conditional Registration on the product, this field is flagged. Used ONLY when the product gets conditionally
registered. Requires expiration date to be entered also in PROD_SPECIAL_STATUS SPECSTAT_DT.

PRODUCT CONFID_SW Confidential Data Indicator "confidential" switch is used ONLY when the product is an adjuvant - spray adjuvant, water modifier, etc. - that is exempt
from USEPA registration. While chemicals and % are entered into the computer, the "confidential" switch precludes that
info from being mirrored to the database or included in the data files on the external ftp site. These products typically have
no pesticidal activity.

PRODUCT FUMIGANT_SW Fumigant Flag If set to 'X', this field is used to indicate that the product is used as a SOIL fumigant. However, there is no validation that
use of the product is allowed on a particular site (commodity). This is because the product may be used for soil fumigation
prior to planting the target commodity or specific commodites may not be listed on the product label.

PRODUCT FUT_FIRMNO Future Firm Number This field was included for future use should new relationships between product and firm need to be identified. More times
than we like, new companies buy the registration and the labels don't change (still has the old firmno). We need to be able
to populate this column - it identifies CA registrant regardless of firmno.
PRODUCT GEN_PEST_IND General Pesticide Type Indicator Codes the general pesticide type of the product: chemical, microbial or both. Codes described in GENERAL_PEST.
GEN_PEST_DSC.
PRODUCT LABEL_SEQ_NO Label Sequence Number Sequence number assigned by the USEPA for a new product within the registrant company. The second part of four parts
of the California Registration Number. USEPA assigns a number based on the manufacturer's firm number, label sequence
number, and the registrant firm number only. If the company is a "CA Only" the sequence number is assigned by licensing
and is a "50000" number.

REACTIVATED AND INCLUDE INITIALS OF PERSON DOING UPDATES. It was automatic with the former FOCUS
system.
PRODUCT MFG_FIRMNO Manufacturer Firm Number Numeric code assigned by the USEPA to the manufacturing company. Assigned by California if the company has no
products registered with US EPA (i.e. is a ‘California only’ registration). The first part of the four parts of the California
Registration Number. The "CA Only" company number is issued by the registration intake or licensing staff.

PRODUCT MFG_REF_SW Manufacturing Reformulation Flag Indicates that the product’s sole use is for manuracturing, reformulating, repackaging, or for other products, has no end
uses, and is not subject to mill assessment. Not for resale. Also referred to as “Manufacturing Use Only”, the MFG,
reformulator, or repack manufacturer reformat/repack flag.
PRODUCT PROD_INAC_DT Product Inactivation Date If a product is no longer registered, it becomes inactive. This is the date on which the product is reported as inactive.

PRODUCT PRODNO Product Number System assigned product number, used internally in the database. Sequentially assigned during new product registration.

PRODUCT REG_FIRMNO Registrant Firm Number Numeric code assigned by the USEPA to the registrant firm. One of four parts of the (a.k.a. California Registration
Number). Also known as the sub-registration number, or the ‘California’ sub-registrant. If this field is empty, it implies that
the manufacturer is the registrant.
PRODUCT REG_TYPE_IND Registration Type Indicator Code for the product California registration type, for example Section 3, Section 18, Section 24c, etc. Codes described in
REGISTRATION_TYPE.REG_TYPE_DSC.
PRODUCT REVISION_NO Revision Number The revision code (a.k.a. number - Product Label revision). One of four parts of the California Registration Number.
Products whose registration numbers vary only by the revision code have ‘no substantive changes’ to product formulation.
Often a new label revision number is assigned to an "additional brand name" for the same formulation, or to the same
product when the registrant firm NAME is in the process of changing from an old name to a new name. New revision
codes are often issued for alternate brand names which require individual registration in Calif., unlike EPA.

PRODUCT RODENT_SW Rodenticide Flag Indicates that the product is registered as a rodenticide. Used to bypass product/site validation process. Products
registered as rodenticides may be reported on any site on a property; the site is incidental to the intended use (rodent
control).
PRODUCT SHOW_REGNO Show Registration Number The California Registration Number of the product formatted for display purposes.
PRODUCT SIGNLWRD_IND Signal Word Indicator Codes the signal word on label. Values: 0, 1, 2, 3, 4, 5 Codes described in SIGNAL_WORD.SIGNALWRD_DSC (with the

Taken from language on the label. Certain application methods require "applied directly to soil" to be chosen.

PRODUCT SPEC_GRAVITY Specific Gravity The ratio of the density of a substance to the density of a reference substance; it has no units. For solids and liquids, the
reference material is distilled water and for gasses the reference material is air or hydrogen. In both cases the reference
material is at a standard temperature and pressure. This value can be a negative value. Some products, such as powders,
do not have specific gravity associated with them. The default value is ( -1) negative one. THIS IS ONLY REQUIRED
FOR LIQUID FORMULATIONS.

A unique number assigned to each chemical in the DPR dictionary. Chemicals do NOT have to be active
ingredients in products, they may be inerts, degradation products, or others as requested by any branch in the
department. Identifies the active ingredient (AI) contained in a product. The chem_code is a 'proprietary' code
created by the Department of Pesticide Regulation (DPR). It is NOT NECESSARILY analogous to the USEPA
Shaughnessy number. (USEPA SHAUGHNESSY NUMBER IS NOW CALLED PC code.)

The preferred common chemical name for a given chem code number. Usually the name assigned by USEPA
or another accepted name. Sometimes simply the first name that comes in on an application for the chemical.
