On Thursday March 5th, Blair-Taylor Elementary held their annual Jump Rope For Heart

event. Students enjoyed participating in individual jump roping, long ropes, hula-hoops,
parachute activities, dancing, and using iPad’s to check their heart rate and stethoscopes
to listen to their hearts.

Students also collected donations for the American Heart Association. For the second
consecutive year students set a school record for donations collected. This year we
collected a total of $11,083, surpassing last year’s record breaking total by almost $400.
Thank you to the students, parents, staff, and communities of Blair and Taylor for making
this possible.
