OUTLINE
SCENE 0: HOUSE – NIGHT
1Stasis
The band drinks one night before their regular practice. Tope and Wa
are the only one religiously drinking. Chip is on his phone, mumbling
words like, “pirang box oorderun mo?”, and “sa may spukoy na lang kita
hilingan saaga, magdara ka na ning kwarta”. JP and Mia are also
somewhat drinking but are busy being each other’s world. They are
disgustingly cheesy.
SCENE 1: JEEP TERMINAL – MORNING
2Trigger
The morning after, they are on their way to the studio when Wa gets
injured in an accident, leaving him unable to play drums forever.
(Don’t tell if he’s dead or alive until the last part of the film)
SCENE 2: SCHOOL – MONTAGE
3Quest
In search for a new drummer, the four remaining band members spread
recruitment posters around town.
SCENE 3: INT. RED MONKEYS STUDIO – MORNING
The band starts to fall apart. JP keeps on pestering Chip with his work
habit. JP walks out. Tope worries for the future.
SCENE 4: EXT. RED MONKEYS LOUNGE – MORNING
First auditionee arrives. Everybody prepares for the interview.
SCENE 5: EXT. LOUNGE – MORNING
4Surprise.
 The auditionees are not what they expected. The first one is Pnthtf. He
is bullied because of his name but he still has a positive attitude. He
likes being weird. He sounds like a shy elf. He looks fragile too.
After the interview, Tope and JP proceeds to the studio for the
audition proper. Chip and Mia watch him at the other side of the room.
SCENE 6: INT. STUDIO – MORNING
As expected, he hits the drums so gentle that it lacks the punch the
band needs. But since they’re not sure how many will come, they make
him wait until afternoon if he’s in or not.
SCENE 7: EXT. LOUNGE – MORNING
Chip is done with his phone. The four of them talk banter while waiting
for the next auditionee. Tope mentions his FETISH for CLUMSY GIRLS.
Chip brags about his money from his shady business and how he managed
to buy his rare guitar. JP takes it as an opportunity to motivate Chip.
He succeeds. Chip goes inside to practice his part. Everybody seems to
be happy at this point. Then the next auditionee comes.
SCENE 8: EXT. LOUNGE– MORNING
The next one is Pandora. They interview her. The perfect word to
describe her is that she’s bitchin’. Seriously, she looks like she
makes boys cry for breakfast. She wants in at the band because it’s on
her bucket list. She’s focused in doing all of them. She never stays
though. She never commits. She’s temporary, she says. Unlike Pnthtf’s
audition, they all come to watch her play inside.
SCENE 9: INT. STUDIO – MORNING
Her drumming skills are massively disappointing. Turns out, she’s
clumsy. Tope’s eyes widened up – she’s his type. He’s not gonna give up
on her. He asks her if she can play another instrument. Luckily, she
can. She slays the frets on Chip’s guitar. JP looks at her then looks
at Chip outside. Chip goes in, notices Pandora playing the part he’s
not getting an hour ago at practice. JP walks to him, invites him to
talk outside.
SCENE 10: EXT. OUTSIDE – NOON
5CriticalChoice.
JP invites Chip to smoke. Then silence. Long enough for audience to
wonder what will happen next. JP starts talking. He says he’s
considering Pandora as the new lead guitarist and Chip will be demoted
to bass. What about drums, Chip asks. I can play it better than Whammy,
JP answers without hesitation. Chip calls bullshit, drops his cigarette
and pounded it with his feet. He rushes back inside. JP follows him
while saying, what’s wrong with being the bassist?
SCENE 11: EXT. LOUNGE – NOON
Chip is packing his things. He removes his moustache. Everybody is
shocked. This whole time they thought it was real. Before leaving, he
tells his business. He’s secretly selling illegal hyper-sweetened
donuts from China to people with diabetes.
SCENE 12: EXT. OUTSIDE - AFTERNOON
 Everyone is at the lounge except for JP and Mia. Mia doubts the future
of the band. She pitches her idea to JP. She wants them to ditch the
band and use the band fund for a 3d2n stay in Pasacao. JP shows his
loyalty by refusing Mia’s idea. Mia says ok. Anything’s fine for her
because she doesn’t really care for the band. She’s just in it because
of JP. They both go back inside.

SCENE 12: EXT. LOUNGE - AFTERNOON

JP officially announces Pandora as the new lead guitarist. Pandora is

not surprised. She asks if she can smoke for a while outside. Tope says
he’ll smoke too. Both leave. Everyone checks on Pnthtf if he’s still
ok. He’s still ok. He’s so adorable.

SCENE 13: EXT. OUTSIDE – AFTERNOON

Tope and Pandora talks. Pandora shares her depression problem to Tope.
Anyone can be depressed, even her who seems to be perfect. Her problem
lies with how people treat her. Because she’s gorgeous, no one seems to
get mad at her, or tell her the truth. She feels everyone treats her
differently. Everyone is fake with her. She can’t stand it. Hence, she
became uncommitted to anything. Her bucket list is just a front for
being temporary. Tope gets “mad” at her. Pandora appreciates Tope’s
effort. She likes him. It’s the biggest plot twist of 2017. Then, the
final auditionee arrives. They saw him getting off the jeep. He’s quite
big.

SCENE 13: EXT. LOUNGE - AFTERNOON

They interview him. His name is Patak, tagalog for drop. He’s big now
but he was a premature baby; he was so small before that his parents
named him Patak. He’s calm but is easily triggered so bullies avoid
him. Unfortunately, even his friends avoid him because he’s scary when
he’s angered.
SCENE 14: INT. STUDIO - AFTERNOON

He’s it. He is the best drummer. Everyone seems to agree except JP

(Show this non-verbally). JP calls for a meeting/deliberation. The
auditionees are sent outside to wait.

SCENE 15: EXT. OUTSIDE - AFTERNOON

The auditionees say hi to each other. Pnthtf is still very adorable.

Pandora accidently triggers Patak. Pandora gets scared but then she
laughs. Pandora is enjoying her new, simple, and honest friends. Patak
shouting, “Anong tig ngi ngirit ngirit mo diyan?” and Pnthtf getting
confused of what’s happening. Welcome to Ruzell Ramirez’s feel good
movie!

SCENE 16: INT. STUDIO – EVENING

6Climax.
Or not! JP doesn’t like Pnthtf and Patak as the new drummer. He says
they are too weird and they will ruin the band’s image. Tope pushes for
Patak as the drummer. He even suggests making Pnthtf as their manager.
 Mia’s dark personality surfaces. She ridicules the two. It was low
blows. The studio stays silent afterwards. Tope leaves the room.

SCENE 17: EXT. OUTSIDE – EVENING

7Reversal.

Tope sees the three. They are playing. Much youth. Such energy. Pandora
sees him. She smiles. She invites him in. Tope just smiles. Then he
looks behind… at the studio. He’s confused. Then, his phone rings. It’s
Whammy. Whammy talks him out of confusion. After saying regards and get
well soon, he ends the call and enters the studio. Pandora looks at
Tope while he enters. Her face is not smiling anymore.
SCENE 18: INT. LOUNGE – NIGHT

8Resolution.

JP asks Tope if he already told the results to the three. Instead of

answering, Tope says he quits. JP is shocked. He asks why. Tope says it
was fun, but the band is done, the band is gone. He’ll remember every
part of it. Tope opens the door to leave. JP stays silent. Mia yells,
“Magiribanan kamong mga weirdo!”. The three hears them. “We’re not
weird. We’re different”, shouts Pnthtf. “Tanga! Parehas man lang”, Mia
aggressively replies. “That… is why we’re different”, Tope counters.
Tope looks cool AF. The door slowly closes with JP’s shocked face on
the background and Mia still cursing. After three seconds, the door
opens. It’s Patak, and he’s crazy angry. “ANONG SABI MO?!”. “Relax lang
Patak”, a faint voice of Pnthtf is heard.

END

At the end credits, without video, Tope, Pandora, Pnthtf, and Patak is heard.
Pandora asks what happened. Tope says he quit. Pnthtf says everything’s gonna
be ok. Patak says what if they form a new band instead. Video will appear.
Their new band, no vowels like Pnthtf’s name, composed of their initials, P-
T-P-P, read as “PUTAPEPE”.
