I. Statement of problem.
For us group 1, we choose this situation/problem because it’s for us to decide what
they’ll going to do, because we are also students and we usually met that situation.
So here it goes. A group activity of a certain group of students who lacks
coordination and preparation of their upcoming SciMath Culmination.

II. Relevance to Organization and Management

Since the Organization and Management consists of five functions of management,
in relevance to our problem they need to apply some of the five functions of
management especially planning. Because they did not plan it well for what to do.
Next is organizing, Organizing is arranging and structuring work to accomplish
organizational goal and that is one of their problem because they can’t organize
their group because they don’t have cooperation and next is staffing, staffing is one
of their problem because they did not choose the right student for the right position
like being a president who commands the subordinates or group mates. And for the
controlling which sets standards so that the problem won’t happen again. They need
to know this or to apply so that their group can be successful and they won’t face
any problems. Lastly is leading they also need a person who will motivate them to
do their assigned task well.

III. Availability of Materials for the Research

We use pen and paper to write down all the information and we also use computer
to encode all the information that we gathered.

IV. Collecting and Analyzing Information

First thing we do is, we have some research by asking a member of that particular
group about their problems and based also on our observation we noticed that some
group members did not do well on their assigned task. Next we conducted a meeting
with group members and we shared our observations about their performance which
lacks of cooperation and preparation. Lastly we end up our meeting peacefully and
still reminding them about their mistakes so that they can cope it up easily.
