WHY IS THIS LOCATION SUITABLE FOR YOUR PROJECT?

This location is suitable as during my advert I have a dance class scene which helps to highlight a common activity of the
target audience that contributes to an extremely active life. The dance studio is the perfect place for a dance class to take
part as it has black backdrops and sets the scene, giving the correct Mise en scene.

TOP 3 RISKS IDENTIFIED ON LOCATION

(N.B. this does not replace the Risk Assessment form which must be carried out for any practical project)

 Either the cast or I tripping over the tripod.

 Water/liquids being spilt on the camera/ equipment due to the cast being thirsty because of the dancing.

 Other students wishing to share the room and being boisterous and careless resulting in broken equipment.

Describe the aesthetics of the location:

(e.g. Describe the potential camera shots or describe the acoustic value of the location)

The dance studio fits perfectly for the Mise en scene of the scene. I will have some long shots of the group of 5 dancers
doing a small sequence from a dance, with the black curtains hanging in the background adding professionalism to the
scene. I will also have close ups of individual faces of the dancers with the black background behind to show their reaction
when they smell the B.O coming from the girl. I wanted to use the dance studio and activity of dancing due to it being an
extremely diverse activity enjoyed widely by both boys and girls of this age group. The studio also has a wooden dance floor
that adds to the reality of the setting of a dance class.
