Brooke and I have filmed and rehearsed about 40% the script. And have edited just about
everything that we have filmed so far only a scenes haven’t been edited because we have to
put them in Premiere in the order of events unless we want to make the movie take up more
space than it needs to. We didn’t work on the script that much besides minor fixes because
we wanted to focus our energy on producing the movie.
2. What problems have you encountered so far? How have you adhered to your original timeline?
We found out that one of our actors who plays Gene, is moving away so we tried to replace
him before we started to film with him and we ended up filming with him anyways. Also I
ended up deleting some footage that we needed because I didn’t double check that we had it
before deleting. As for our original timeline, we are definitely behind.
3. Were you able to solve them? If not, why not? What adjustments have you made to your original timeline?
We decided it would be easier to write the character out, by that I mean make him disappear
after a while, than it was to find a reliable replacement. The lost footage was never recovered.
We decided to wait till after the finals and winter break to try to make up time.
4. What are your feelings or thoughts about the project at this time?
I felt extremely stressed about the project and angry at my partner for personal reasons.
5. Have you had any successes, or have you learned something new?
We have succeeded in filming parts of our movie and I learned that it’s best that I ask before
deleting the footage off the camera.
