Cara Pengucapan Bilangan Cardinal

1 = One 11 = Eleven 30 = Thirty

2 = Two 12 = Twelve 40 = Forty

3 = Three 13 = Thirteen 50 = Fifty

4 = Four 14 = Fourteen 60 = Sixty

5 = Five 15 = Fifteen 70 = Seventy

6 = Six 16 = Sixteen 80 = Eighty

7 = Seven 17= Seventeen 90 = Ninety

8 = Eight 18 = Eighteen 100 = One hundred

9 = Nine 19 = Nineteen 1.000 = One thousand

10 = Ten 20 = Twenty 1.000.000 = One million

Cara Penulisan Bilangan Cardinal

Untuk cara penulisan cardinal number, sebenarnya cukup mudah, temen-temen hanya perlu
mengikuti beberapa aturan dibawah ini.

1. Puluhan dan satuan langsung digabung dengan tanda (-)

Contohnya :

55 = Fifty-five

24 = Twenty-four

2. Ratusan dan Puluhan digabung dengan kata “and”

Contohnya :

248 = two hundred and forty-eight

356 = three hundred and fifty-six

3. Ribuan dan ratusan tidak perlu pakai “and”

Contohnya :

3.527 = three thousand five hundred and twenty-seven

Ke-1 = First (1st ) Ke-11 = Eleventh (11th ) Ke-30 = Thirtieth (30th)

Ke-2 = Second (2nd ) Ke-12 = Twelfth (12th ) Ke-40 = Fortieth (40th)

Ke-3 = Third (3rd ) Ke-13 = Thirteenth (13th) Ke-50 = Fiftieth (50th)

Ke-4 = Fourth (4th ) Ke-14 = Fourteenth (14th) Ke-60 = Sixtieth (60th)

Ke-5 = Fifth (5th ) Ke-15 = Fifteenth (15th) Ke-70 = Seventieth (70th)
