Agenda Decision
Academia – Industry relationship: Interaction with faculty members and with
  senior students is must to get these things in
The institute needs to work in this aspect as position. Students were advised accordingly.
this will highly benefit the students to get
internships and jobs. Moreover this should
not be limited to just CSE department, care
must be taken for each one. 

Removal of Restriction on Entry of boys in Presently Status quo.

GH common room and Permission to girls
to enter in BH Common Room:   However, PG, Representative and UG, Hall
Secretary, Girls’ Hostel to discuss pros and
cons and submit report by 15th Sept.,2017.
Financial help from college for Mess: Financial help from the Institute is not
possible, per se. However, students may
make suggestions.

A fallout of these discussion was (a)  hygiene

(b) additional vendor

 Duty Roster of 3 students will be made to

look after food quality and hygiene in mess
during breakfast, lunch & dinner time. 

Mosquito Nets and Pest Control
Two vendors:
Mess 1 (A+B+GH) – Dulal Sen will serve
Mess 2 (C+D) – Sai Hospitality will serve
Dulal Sen will also provide Snacks and milk
to Girls Hostel Mess
Review to be done after 15 days.
Mr. S.K.Jha informed that evaluation of
technical bid of Pest Control is under
process. In 02 weeks works will be awarded.
Decision on Mosquito nets in mess will be
taken after the site visit.

Current Status: Technical Bid has been

Improvement of Sports Infrastructure
opened.
Work of new courts near football and cricket
ground will soon start after the fencing of
courts.
Cricket pitch will be prepared under the
guidance of expert. Mr. Abhishek (PG Rep)
will coordinate with Dr. Debajit (Associate
PIC, Sports) to expedite this process.

Procurement of rollers of various size should

be initiated. Action: Mr Shyam

Hiring of full time coach on consolidated pay

for cricket will be done.

2 unskilled manpower will be outsourced

from institute manpower providing agency

For lights

Lights in volley ball courts will be taken up
(Action: Head, IWD)
Better transportation facilities Deferred to Next Dir-Reg Meeting (PIC
transport to be present in the meeting)
Making of various clubs and allocation of Clubs were asked to share Anwesha and
rooms to them Sports room at Administrative block until
Gymkhana building gets ready.
Subsidizing and price regulations of Status: Owner of Night Canteen has been
canteens called for meeting on 04.09.2017 at 04:30
PM with Hon’ble Director.
Funds to participate in or to organise fests, Hon’ble Director asked the students to
events or workshops present detailed activities and budget of each
club. Decision will be taken after
presentation.
Stationery Shop at GH Deferred to D-R & Adeans Meeting

Impeachment Gymkhana Constitution has to be framed.

Transparency in Gymkhana Transactions Gymkhana functionaries to meet finance
people every semester.
Equal division of resources among the Budget to be made for each fest, followed by
fests discussion.

Online Registration To see the practice in older IITs.

Malfunctioning ACs ACs complaints are taken up and resolved.

AMC for ACs is under process. It will be
awarded by Sept. end.

Curator for Greenery Referred to landscaping Committee meeting

E-Rickshaw Tender is under process

Setting up of Wi-Fi routers and projectors This facility will be created in the Hostel
(& speakers) common room.
Action: Wardens
Implementation of speed limit for vehicles It has been discussed in various meeting.
Modalities are to be worked out.
Formation of a Technical Council Budget for various technical activities has
been given to departments.

Cycle Shop near GH A committee of following members is

formed for opening of Cycle Shop in GH

1. Mr. Swatantra Kumar, Senior

Superintendent
2. Boys’ Hostel Representative
3. Girls Hostel Representative
The committee was also asked to expedite
matters.
