SUBJECT DEFINITION
This is a subject that belongs to the Basic Science Area, which nature is
theoretical and practical. Students will be able to describe and explain
experiences, events and plans. In addition, students will dramatize situations
using information learned previously. Its aim is to distinguish personal and
classmates past information. In addition, students will demonstrate knowledge in
the areas of personal and family interest. Also they will be able to discuss current
issues and produce simple ideas connected to topics of interest.

English is spoken by more people than any other language around


the world. English is an international language and anyone who
faces the professional and occupational field, has to feel very close
to the difficulties of English.
This syllabus intends to contribute to the professional development
of second level students at UNIANDES University. It will provide
students with tools that will help them to improve their speaking,
reading, writing and listening skills of the English language making
them to be able to research scientific information and to
communicate.

When our students study English, they are getting ready to find out
a world of information which contains subjects related to their
career whatever is this, since the last upgrades come in English,
they are going to be prepared to understand and receive the last
information so that they will always will know what is going on in
their field.

The institution intends to give the society professionals with critical


thinking prepared to contribute with ideas as well as to solve

which has a theory-practice nature related to the whole immediate
environment since is a general one it will cover the necessity for
every student.

Desarrollo de Ambientes de Aprendizaje
Los ambientes de aprendizaje presenciales incorporan el uso de las tecnologías en
ambientes de no presencialidad, una evidencia de ello es el portafolio del estudiante.
Enfoques Metodológicos
Los enfoques metodológicos son entre otros: Interdisciplinariedad de contenidos,
inteligencia colectiva, reflexión metacognitiva, enfoque comunicativo y trabajo en equipo.
Uso de las Tecnologías
El uso de las tecnologías permite alcanzar las competencias necesarias para el desarrollo
profesional del estudiante, entre otras tecnologías se utilizarán: Foros, chat,
videoconferencias, plataformas educacionales, páginas web, base de datos, entre otros.
