No.0 24 24. 24. 24. 24 DESIGN CRITERIA .1 TECHNICAL DESCRIPTION According to our attached calculation, based on the available soil investigation report by Mis. Al Hai & Al Mukkadam Laboratory for, Report No: SR/1704118 dated 13 May 2017. ‘According to our attached calculation an H-beam wall with concrete panel will be installed to ensure the safe excavation to final level. Excavation from 0.00 m up to - 4.375 m A cantilever H beam wall with top level at 0.00 m and toe level at - 12.00 m is required for a safe excavation up to -4.375 m. Center to center distance between the adjacent beams shall be 1.50 m. Concrete panel shall be installed between the beams flanges to retain the soil from 0.00m to -4.375m. Used Computer Program: REWARD RETAINING WALL PROGRAM. .2 SURCHARGE LOADS In our design, we have assumed surcharge of 20 KNim? 3 WALL STIFFNESS: Proposed beam size = 457x191x82 kgim Moment of inertia of beam along XX axis = 37050 om* Young's Modulus of steel = 2tx10® KN?
