Center
The new Community Recycling Center building will take on a similar look as the above building. The footprint of the

new facility will be exactly that of the old one. It will be approximately 45 feet wide by 80 feet long.

We will be back in the business of being able to

bale and recycle plastic.

From milk bottles to soft drink bottles to hair

spray bottles to …. You get the point.

If the recycling number inside the triangle reads

#1 or #2 we will be able to use it.

We will also

amounts of materials due to Brady’s

At least time to mark your calendar, make your

It’s Banquet time once again! reservation and start getting excited!

When: April 6, 2007. Once again, this is a Friday and this year Good Friday will have special emphasis.

Where: Josephine County Fairgrounds. They are still going strong

and so are we in
their support!

How: Once again, there is no cover cost for attending the banquet. BUT, and this
is most important. You simply must have a ticket in order to gain entrance to the
banquet. How do you obtain a ticket? Simple. Call the office, 476-0082, giving
them your name, address, phone number and number of tickets requested. We will get them to you in the return mail. Or
you can simply come by the Mission’s office at 120 SE J Street and pick up your desired number of tickets.

NO TICKET NO BANQUET

Why: We have to get a better handle on how many meals to prepare. In the past several years we
have had almost 13% of people calling for reservation not bother to show. But the Lord has graciously
brought some who did not bother to call. We want to make the best use of the Lord’s money in
making this banquet a honorable time until His glory.

What: We will have special music.

There will be a summary of the history of the Mission, with an emphasis on the last 10 years.

We’ll try and show you, with a presentation, on where we are heading.

There will be some special door prizes - another reason for having a ticket.

Do not procrastinate!

Mark your calendar for Friday, April 6, 2007, starting at 6:30 and ending no later than 9:00.

Remember Derrold & Tammy Kinzel?

Tammy warmed our hearts with her testimony of God’s faithfulness and
goodness to her and her husband Derrold at a recent Banquet.

Just about a month ago, as Derrold was leaving the Courthouse, he slipped on
the ice, fractured his skull and damaged his already extremely fragile health
situation.

Tammy is trying to work but Derrold has great difficulties in getting around
without Tammy. We have a designated line entry whereby any financial gifts
given for “The Kinzel’s” will be reserved for their need. The Mission will
gladly account for any moneys spent in assisting this dear couple. No longer
Mission residents, they are living on their own. Rent and utilities are two pressing areas of need. Derrold’s medical bills are
pretty much covered through insurance. If this is an area where you might feel led to financially assist, just send your check
made out to the Gospel Rescue Mission along with a note “For the Kinzel’s.” We will get it to them.

Nick & Kari Larsen

with children Dustin, Aleka and Wyllow

Do you want to know what keeps us going? The Larsen’s are a wonderful
example of our sources for true joy! Listen to what Kari wrote in a card
she sent along with the beautiful picture of the family!

Thank you for teaching me how to embrace the

Lord! What a gift you’ve given (all of us) 
God bless you.

What a gift the Lord has given to us - the Larsen’s - that we might be en-
couraged in this wonderful though tiring and often exasperating work.
