• To express a plan. It expresses an idea that a person intends to do something in the future, whether or
not the plan is realistic.
Examples:
a. Precy is going to spend her vacation in Canada.
b. Francis is going to continue his schooling next school year.
c. I am going to attend a swimming class when I have more free time.
4. shall + verb
• To make an offer, to indicate requirement.
Examples:
a. Shall I bring you home?
b. You shall wear your uniform on Monday.
c. We shall meet with the principal tomorrow.
