Tom Overlie
KTTC 6 and 10 pm Anchor
Overlie has been anchor of the 6 pm and 10 pm since he started at KTTC in May
2000. Tom is active with the community by hosting the Eagles Cancer Telethon each
January and has been honored by the American Cancer Society, Alzheimer’s
Association, Minnesota Veterans, Boys and Girls Club of Rochester and the University
of Minnesota. In his free time, Tom enjoys exploring remote corners of the world,2018 Legislative Preview

Legislative Leaders
Kurt Daudt, Speaker of the House
Speaker Daudt lives on the same farm his family
homesteaded in Crown, MN and when he is not
working in the legislature he volunteers his time
with Project 24, a non-profit he founded that builds
orphanages in Kenya.
Rick Hansen, House Minority Rep.
Representative Hansen was raised on a family farm
in rural Freeborn, Minnesota and currently lives in
South St. Paul. He graduated with degrees in
Biology and Soil Management and is involved with
environment, natural resources, agriculture,
responsive government, and bonding issues.
Susan Kent, Asst. Sen. Minority Leader
Senator Kent is a former small business owner, has
spent countless hours in the classrooms of her district
and is the founder of the Twin Cities East Chapter of
Mothers & More.
Jeremy Miller, Dep. Sen. Majority Leader
Senator Miller was born and raised in Winona, MN. He is
the Chief Financial Officer as well as health and safety
officer for Miller Scrap ron & Metal Co. a family owned
business that dates back to 1910.
