relationship with the nature of the compound.

By using task analysis, student can naming hydrocarbon compound:

Student can give a name of hydrocarbon compound based on the task
analysis correctly through: Finding the main chain, giving number on carbon
atom, and writing the alkyl group and followed by the main chain.

longest chain as main chain.
4. Phase 4: Check for understanding and provide feedback.
 Teacher asks student to do problem number 1 and 2 in worksheet

 Teacher has to emphasize that student has to be careful in solving
the problem.
 After finishing doing the problem, student asks student to do it in
front of the class and check it.
5. Phase 2: Demonstrate knowledge or skill.
 Teacher demonstrates the way to give number to atom carbon start
from the closest triple bonding from the edge.
6. Phase 3: Provide guided practice
 Teacher provides guided practice to give number to atom carbon
based on the worksheet.
7. Phase 4: Check for understanding and provide feedback.
 Teacher ask student to do worksheet problem number 3 and 4
individually.
 Teacher emphasizes that to understand this material easily, the
student has to be diligent in solving problem and practice it.
 After finishing doing problem in the worksheet, teacher ask student
to do it on the whiteboard in front of the class and checking it.

 Teacher demonstrates the way to determine the alkyl group.
 First, write the name of its alkyl group and sort alphabetically.

 Teacher provides guided practice to solve problem in worksheet.

 Teacher ask student to do worksheet number 5 and 6.
 Teacher emphasize that they can teach their friends that have
difficulty in doing the problem number 5 and 6. It practices them to
do cooperation with their friends.
 After finishing doing problem in the worksheet, teacher asks student
to do it on the whiteboard in front of the class and checking it.

compound.
 First, write the number of atom carbon that contain alkyl group
alphabetically, then the number of triple bond and the name of
alkynes based on the main chain.

 Teacher ask student to do worksheet number 7 and 8.
 Teacher emphasize that they can teach their friends that have
