Instructional
Software
video.
This
whole
lesson
will
be
the
introduction
to
our
lesson
about
how
fossils
form.
Students
will
then
collect
their
thoughts
after
the
video
and
write
one
sentence
on
something
new
they
learned
about
fossils
or
something
they
had
highlighted.
This
will
then
be
turned
in
to
show
that
the
students
were
attentive
during
the
video.
The
final
product
will
be
informative
because
students
will
be
able
to
look
back
at
this
paper,
after
our
fossil
lesson
is
over,
to
see
all
the
new
information
they
learned
about
fossils.
Students
can
write
as
many
or
as
little
facts
as
they
want.
As
long
as
they
have
something
on
their
paper
from
the
video
I
know
there
was
an
effort
being
made.
Some
students
may
have
no
background
knowledge
at
all
about
fossils.
Students
who
are
at
the
higher
levels
can
be
reached
because
they
may
have
a
lot
more
information
to
sort
through
if
they
wrote
down
a
large
list
of
facts
about
fossils.
I
will
conclude
the
lesson
by
having
the
students
share
items
on
their
paper
aloud.
Students
feedback
will
occur
as
a
class
discussion
of
these
ideas.
Reflective
Practice:
This
BrainPop
video
would
be
used
as
a
way
to
introduce
the
content
standards
of
fossils.
The
BrainPop
is
a
way
to
get
student’s
minds
thinking
about
the
topic
of
fossils.
Students
can
then
use
technology
to
explore
different
fossils
that
personally
interest
them.
After
exploring
using
the
web
students
could
create
a
BrainPop
video
that
explores
their
chosen
fossil
and
facts
about
how
that
fossil
could
have
formed.
