MOTION FOR EXTENSION OF TIME

TO FILE COUNTER-AFFIDAVIT

RESPONDENT, by himself, unto this Honorable Office, most respectfully state

that:

1. On February 3, 2018, the respondent was required to file a position paper

for and in consideration of the case;
2. Today, February 10, 2018, is the last day for the submission of the counter-
affidavit and other supporting documents;
3. Due to the complexities of the issues revolving the case, further study and
data gathering is needed to support the defenses of the respondent.
4. Thus, this request for a period of fifteen (15) days extension within which to
submit the respondent’s Counter-Affidavit and other supporting documents.
5. That the filing of this motion is done in good faith and not for purposes of
delaying the proceedings of this case but for the reason above-stated.

WHEREFORE, above premises considered, it is humbly prayed unto this

Honorable Office, that the undersigned would be given another fifteen (15) days from
the receipt of this motion to file his position paper.

Other just and equitable remedy under the premises are equally prayed for.
