PARTIAL ONE

ENGLISH LANGUAGE

OBJECTIVE;
• To write a quiz on a place of your choosing, for example Cozumel, or Mexico.
• To demonstrate control of question forms and basic grammar.
• To write a short journal about the process.

FORMAT
• Between 12 and 15 well written, varied questions.
• A separate answer sheet
• Questions should be varied between: open questions, multiple choice and true/false
• a 100 word “journal” about the creation and process of writing the quiz.
• The quiz will done as group work, the journal as individual work
• Both MUST be completed and posted to the group Edmodo by 19:00 Sunday 10th
September

EVALUATION
• 40% Task(s)
• 30% class, and homework
• 30% participation

Grades for TASK(S) are broken down as:

• CONTENT (10 points) the task is fulfilled thoroughly and completely and the reader is fully
informed.
• PRESENTATION (10 points) the text is well organised and logical. The text is easy to read
and understand. The reader is fully engaged in the text
• LANGUAGE (10 points) The language used is appropriate and accurate. Spelling and
punctuation are accurate. Any errors do not impede the understanding of the reader.
