Reading

Ross is divorced and he has his son Ben for the holidays this year. Ross wants to teach his son
about Hanukkah because Ross’s family is Jewish. However, Ben is disappointed that Santa is not
coming. Ross tries to find a Santa costume at the last minute but there are no Santa costumes left.
Ross decides to rent an armadillo costume instead.

Phoebe and Rachel’s apartment has been damaged by fire so Rachel is now living with Joey
while Phoebe is staying with Monica and Chandler. The girls’ apartment is finally fixed after the fire
and Phoebe and Rachel can move back. Phoebe is afraid that Rachel doesn‘t want to live with her
anymore. She tries to make living at Joey’s as unpleasant as can be and gives Joey some very
annoying presents. This doesn’t work but Rachel wants to live with Phoebe anyway. The refurnished
apartment looks wonderful but it does not have two separate bedrooms.

Monica and Chandler are celebrating their first Christmas as an engaged couple. Monica is
baffled that Chandler cannot tip properly (i.e. bribe) and Chandler tries to learn how to slip someone
money during a handshake.
