Online Application Flowchart

Waste Generators

STEP 1 1. Click on the LOGIN button in DM Portal


Online (e-service) 2. Click Register
3. Click for “Company and Admin User Registration” under the Business Services;
Registration 4. Complete and submit the online-registration form.
(www.dm.gov.ae) 5. Select the “Waste Disposal Service” under “Environment Department”

STEP 2 Required Document: Copy of Trade License


Submit documents to An admin username and password will be received thru email
E-Service

1. Log-in admin username & password


STEP 3 2. Create a Business User from “User Management”
Create a Business User 3. Assign “Waste Disposal Service” to the Business User

1. Scan properly all the required documents before logging to DM Portal


(refer to 2nd page for list of required documents)
STEP 4 2. Log-in using Business User Name & password
Apply for Waste 3. Click on Waste Disposal Service
Disposal Service 4. Click on Apply for Waste Disposal, & fill-up the application form
5. Attach the required documents, i.e. Results.pdf, WastePicture.tif (maximum 10mb only)
6. Review details of application & Click “Done” button

Waste Category Required Attachment


 Analysis Report from any DAC accredited laboratories (not older than 30 days)
For first time applicant:
 Flowchart of the process sources of waste
 Description and drawing details of waste treatment system and details of wastewater
Wastewater
holding tanks with connection to sewer lines (if any)
 Location map of the premises
Permit once issued will be valid for 3 months only. Therefore, value to input in the disposal request
shall be the wastewater generation in 3 months.
For all expired/unused chemicals/materials:
 Photos of the wastes
 Material Safety Data Sheet (MSDS)
 Shipping/importation documents (Bill of Lading, UAE Dubai Customs Declaration)
 Certificate of country of origin
 Proof of manufacturing & expiry dates
 Analysis Report from any DAC accredited laboratories (if required by Reviewer)
For all used/waste chemicals or materials:
 Photos of the wastes
 Analysis Report from any DAC accredited laboratories
 Process explanation on how the wastes is generated (if required by Reviewer)
Chemicals and Other For Freezone Company (JAFZA and Techno Park:
Wastes  EHS Trakhees Inspection Report and approval
For expired pharmaceutical products:
 Certificate of Medications Disposal approved from Dubai Health Authority (DHA) (for
pharmacy store, clinics, hospitals, etc),
Procedure: Fill-up the application form for “Medication Disposal Request Form” found in the
Service Catalogue of Waste Disposal Service. Submit the form to DHA Office in Business
Village, Block B, 3rd Floor, Quality Assurance Office in Deira (near Clock Tower). Attach the
approved form in the Waste Disposal Service system.
 Certificate of Medicine Disposed approved from Ministry of Health for generator not under
DHA such as drug distributor, trader, etc.
For Items confiscated by Dubai Customs, Dubai Police or any governmental Authority:
 Confiscation papers issued by the relevant Authority
