Adding Nationality and National Identifier Fields in

iRecruitment Pages Using Personalization

GOAL: This document explains how Nationality and National Identifier fields can be added
on the Register: Personal Information page in iRecruitment to capture the candidates’
nationality and nation identifier information during the registration process.

Adding Nationality field using personalization on the Register:


Personal Information page

This following section explains how to add the Nationality field on the Register: Personal
Information page using Personalization.

Register: Personal Information page before adding the Nationality Field


Step - 1: Click: “Personalize "Basic Details”
Step - 2: Click: “Create Item”.
Step - 3:

• Select the “Level” of personalization

• Select the item style as “Message Choice”.

• Provide a unique “ID”, for example: Nationality.

• Provide: “Picklist Display Attribute”, for example: Meaning

• Provide: “Picklist Value Attribute”, for example: LookupCode

• Provide: “Picklist View Definition”. for example:


oracle.apps.per.selfservice.personalinformation.server.NationalityListVO

• Provide a “Prompt”, for example: Nationality

• Provide the “View Attribute”, for example: Nationality

• Provide the “View Instance”, for example: IrcCandidatePerInfoVO

Choose other options appropriately.


Step 4: Personalization steps are now complete. Click Return to Application.
You can now see that “Nationality” field has been added successfully in iRecruitment
and candidates are able to select their Nationality during the registration process.

The Nationality field selected in iRecruitment is available from Oracle HRMS People
window as well.
Adding National Identifier field using personalization on the Register:
Personal Information page

This following section explains how to add the National Identifier field on the Register:
Personal Information page using Personalization.

Register: Personal Information page before adding the National Identifier Field
Step - 1: Click: “Personalize "Basic Details”
Step - 2: Click: “Create Item”.
Step - 3:

• Select the “Level” of personalization

• Select the item style as “Message Input Text”.

• Provide a unique “ID”, for example: NationalIdentifier.

• Provide a “Prompt”, for example: Social Security Number

• Provide the “View Attribute”, for example: NationalIdentifier

• Provide the “View Instance”, for example: IrcCandidatePerInfoVO

Choose other options appropriately.


Step 4: Personalization steps are now complete. Click on return to application.
You can now see that “National Identifier” field has been added successfully in
iRecruitment and candidates are able to enter their SSN/NI information during the
registration process.

The National Identifier field selected in iRecruitment is available from Oracle HRMS
People window as well.
