1 After winning the Oreo competition, junior
Jonathan Adkins celebrates his victory as his
teammate, junior David Beato, joins in. “We
knew it was going to be difficult to let the Oreo
slide down our faces, so I just tried to let it drop
into my mouth,” Adkins said. photo by lauren jalil
2 Without using her hands, freshman Lydia
Martin tilts her head to catch an Oreo. “I
thought the game would be super easy, but
come to find out I was horrible at it. Even
though I lost I didn't really care because I got
a free cookie and that's always a win,” Martin
said. photo by taylor looney 3 Using her tongue
to help grab the cookie, sophomore Caroline
Hager pushes the Oreo down her face. “I got
the cookie in my mouth, but it didn't matter
because my partner, Nolan Fulsom, was still
holding the Oreo in his hand with a confused
look on his face by the time the seniors won,”
Hager said. photo by lily bathon 3

1 Once up on stage, seniors Katelyn Elmore
and Emily Schlichtig laugh after racing to
enter the contest. “We had to run to get to
the stage to make sure that we could
actually play in the game,” Schlichtig said.

Hency and Corey Goede defend their class.
“Billy and I were arguing with the judges
because they were cheating us out of a win,”
Goede said. photo by grace podjeski 3 To
celebrate their win, juniors Emily Kremer and
Kaitlin Higgins shout to the crowd. “I was just
so excited because the song they played
was one of the only ones I actually knew and
I was glad to win for the juniors,” Higgins said.

1 With their hands in the air, seniors Nicholas
Meacham, Daniel Hopkins, Zane Sabbert,
Connor Martin, and Joseph Corey cheer for
their class during the lunch game on Sept. 21.
“We had just won and we wanted to show
everyone that the seniors were better than the
other grades so we started chanting one
eight as loud as we could,” Martin said. photo

contest, seniors Noah Juelfs and Thomas Elliott
respond to senior Ashley Perone’s question. “It
came down to a tie between the juniors and
seniors and it was tight that we won for the
seniors,” Elliott said. photo by brianna evans

senior Kaitlyn Stimson attempts to kiss his

WEDNESDAY
“Greatest class on Earth”
1 Near the end zone, senior Nicole Schade
advances the ball down field. “Although I didn’t
score, it felt cool to have all my friends cheering
me on in the background. After all, we had
seniority,” Schade said. The Powderpuff game
ended with a senior victory 28-0 on Sept. 20. photo

junior girls run onto the field to kick off the annual
Powderpuff game. Junior Emma Snyder said that
this night was one to remember. “Looking back on
this moment is so surreal because all of us girls got
this chance to bond and get to know each other
better,” Snyder said. photo by emily condra 3 As part
of their halftime show, seniors Nathan Mecey and
Cole Beck brace Caleb Joiner and Thomas
Weber in a back flip. To prepare for the game the
boys had four practices. “I now have a greater
appreciation for the amount of work the
cheerleaders put into practice,” Joiner said. photo

senior girls pour a bucket of water on coach
Carrie Lampe. “I was surprised, definitely didn't see
that coming,” she said. This was Lampe’s third win
