MY LEARNING EXPERIENCE

Hello, My name is Nihlah Rahmadhani . I want to share my learning experience in

English lesson for this semester. When this semester began, that day was Wednesday. There
was a lecturer came to my class, I have met him before. His name is Mr. Ridho. I met him in
BCSS. My first impression for the first time I met him is fuN, kindhearted, smart and has a
sense of humor. I believe that this semester, I will not feel bored when I learned English with
him, I will enjoy this class and my expectation is right. My first impression until the last
meeting not change, his character not change, he still like when the first meeting.

Actually, I’m not really interest with English lesson because I don’t have much
vocabulary and I can’t speak English fluently. But deeply in my heart , I really want to speak
English fluently and I want have a good English. I feel difficult to speak in front of people, I
don’t have braveness, I’m shy if I’m in front of people, I can’t say anything. I only
understand when there is someone speak English, but it’s difficult to me to say it right. But,
when I studied English lesson in this semester , I became more brave to give my opinion and
speak in front of people in English even not really fluent.

The schedule of this lesson is Wednesday, I really excited to join in this lesson. Mr.
Ridho always give us different material every week. And every week we are divided into
some groups and he gave a task to discuss about the task in English. After that every groups
sent the representation of the group to share the conclusion of the discussion. I felt excited
when my friends ask me to share the conclusion of the discussion because of that chance I
can speak English in front of my friends. From the discussion we learn some education, like
we are more solid and we can share our opinion , and respect the other opinion.

We also learned about how think critically. We are divided into some groups and all
groups would be given same case. The case about “how if the therapist that we give to our
consument there’s no payment or free for everyone” and we need to give our opinion about
that case agree or disagree. At that time ,my groups officially disagree about that because if
we give therapist free for everyone, from where we can get money to continue our life.
Maybe we can give free therapist for everyone that really need our help and they don’t have
money. And we wrote the reason in big paper. After that, the paper would move from one
group to another group for ten times,and we need to comment or ask about their opinion. I
learned something from this learning that we need to think critically and wise about any
problem happen. Because when we work, we will see or get many problem and we have to
think it carefully and wise to get solution about this problem.

Not only discussion, Mr. Ridho gave us a game called BINGO. At that time , we are
really excited to play BINGO. MR. Ridho can make class more enjoying, but we still keep
focus with this lesson. Mr. Ridho teach us to speak in front of people to share opinion without
shy or afraid. I’m sure that my friends also feel enjoy the class and I’m sure that my friend
agree if I say the way Mr. Ridho teach us is very good.

I also learned about some cultures the exist in this world. Everyone in every countries
has their cultures each of other. My English lecturer gave us some texts about cultures that
exist in this world. We are divided into 5 groups and we have to discuss about that cultures.
The good side and bad side of that cultures. That cultures are hierarchy and equality, risk and
cautious, individual and groups, direct and indirect, relationship and task. Every cultures has
a good side and bad side, and when lecturer explaind about each cultures I think it really
important to us in the future.

Every task from Mr. Ridho gave to us is not really difficult. We are given task to tell our
experience in learning English. It gives us benefit because it increases our skill in writing.

Mr. Ridho also often shared his experience about his study in the other countries. So
much experiences he shared when he was in other countries. His experience really fun and
interested. He tell about the cultures in other countries and the way speaking in other people
in different country. It’s really interesting for me and I always wait to hear his stories again. I
really amazed and interest with every his stories and his experiences, and that can be
motivation for me for study hard and then I can continue my study in other country and I
learned from his experiences in the future.

So, I really enjoy, ,interest, and excited in this class for this semester. I got a lot of
education that my lecturer shared and give to us. I really love the way his teaching, I got a lot
information that I didn’t know before, and I hope I can be a smart student like him in the
