Invites applications for the following teacher posts at HAL GNANAJYOTI SCHOOL for the
AY 2018-‘19.
1. PRT- (English & Social Studies) – One Post
• Qualification: B.A., B.Ed. from a recognised university. Subjects at B.A., should
include a minimum of two of the subjects mentioned within brackets (History/
English/Political Science/Economics)
B.Ed., with English as one of the teaching methods.
• Candidates should have an aggregate of 50% in B.A. and 50% in teaching subjects
taken in B.Ed.
• Experience: Candidates should have minimum of 02 academic years’ experience
(as on date of advertisement) in teaching in primary/middle school (I to VII) in
CBSE / ICSE affiliated schools.
• Candidates should have studied in English medium in school and at graduation.
• Pay Scales:₹.9300-34800 plus Grade Pay ₹.4200 and other admissible allowances.
(Gross approx. ₹ 476232/- per annum)
2. PRT- Mathematics – Two Posts
• Qualification: B.Sc., B.Ed. from a recognised university. Subjects in B.Sc., should
include Mathematics and any other subject mentioned within brackets
(Physics/Biology/Chemistry/Computer Science/Computer Application)
B.Ed with Mathematics as one of the teaching subject
• Candidates should have an aggregate of 50% in B.Sc. and 50% in teaching subjects
taken in B.Ed.
• Experience: : Candidates should have minimum of 2 academic years’ experience
(as on date of advertisement) in teaching in middle school ( IV to VII) in CBSE /
ICSE affiliated schools.
• Candidates should have studied in English medium at graduation.
• Pay Scales:₹.9300-34800 plus Grade Pay ₹.4200 and other admissible allowances.
(Gross approx. ₹ 476232/- per annum)

3. PRT- Maths & EVS/Science– Three Posts

• Qualification: B.Sc., B.Ed. from a recognised university. Subjects in B.Sc., should
include a minimum of two of the subjects mentioned within brackets
(Mathematics/Physics/Biology/Botany/Zoology/Chemistry/Environmental
Science/Computer Science /Computer Application/Biochemistry/ Biotechnology)
B.Ed in a Science subject.
• Candidates should have an aggregate of 50% in B.Sc. and 50% in teaching subjects
taken in B.Ed.
• Experience: Candidates should have minimum of 2 academic years’ experience (as
on date of advertisement) in teaching in primary school & middle school (I to VII) in
CBSE / ICSE affiliated schools.
• Candidates should have studied in English medium at graduation.
• Pay Scales:₹.9300-34800 plus Grade Pay ₹.4200 and other admissible allowances.
(Gross approx. ₹ 476232/- per annum)
 4. PRT- Computer Application – One Post
• Qualification: BCA or Graduate with P.G. Diploma in Computers (Two years
duration)
• Candidates should have an aggregate of 50% at graduation
• Experience: Candidates should have minimum of 2 academic years’ experience in
teaching in primary /middle school ( I to VII) in CBSE / ICSE affiliated schools.
• Candidates should have studied in English medium at graduation.
• Pay Scales:₹.9300-34800 plus Grade Pay ₹.4200 and other admissible allowances.
(Gross approx. ₹ 476232/- per annum)

5. K.G Teacher (Ad hoc): Two Posts

• Qualification: Graduates with NTT/ Montessori
• Candidate should have done their schooling and higher education in English
medium.
• Experience: Candidates should have minimum of 01 academic year’s experience in
teaching Kindergarten students in a reputed school.
• Consolidated pay ₹.18000/- per month.

6. Counselor (Ad hoc): One Post

• Qualification: Graduates in Psychology and a certification in counseling
• Candidate should have done their schooling and higher education in English
medium.
• Experience: Candidates should have minimum of 01 year experience in counseling
school students.
• Consolidated pay ₹. 21250/- per month.

7. Ayah (Female) – Three Posts (Adhoc)

• Middle School Pass
• Minimum 01 yr experience in a reputed school
• Candidates should have knowledge in English and Kannada.
• Consolidated pay ₹.10000/- per month.

8. Attender (Male)- One Post (Adhoc)

• Middle School Pass
• Minimum 01 yr experience in a reputed school
• Candidates should have knowledge in English and Kannada.
• Consolidated pay ₹.10000/- per month.

Please Note:
1. Age for all posts ( SN 01 to SN 08 ) is 45 yrs or below as on 01.06.2018
2. Candidates must apply neatly and legibly in the prescribed application format as
given below for HAL Gnanajyoti School.
3. Attach copies of all testimonials pertaining to age, qualification, previous experience
certificate, affidavit if there is change in name along with self addressed envelope
etc. An appointment letter with the latest salary certificate from the current
employer along with application will also be accepted as evidence of experience in
lieu of experience letter.
4. Recent passport size photograph must be attached in the application form
5. Copy of Aadhar Card to be attached.
6. Regular staff will be entitled to 7th pay commission salary only on approval by the
School Management.
7. Demand Draft of Rs. 200/- drawn in favour of “SECRETARY- HAL GNANAJYOTI
SCHOOL” must also be enclosed with the application. No application fee for
internal candidates of CBSE/ICSE HAL Schools of Bangalore.
7. Name of the post applied for should be superscribed on the envelope.
8. Application with incomplete information, without enclosures and those received
after the due date are liable to be rejected.
9. Internal candidates should submit their application through proper channel.

Filled in application form along with all enclosures should reach HAL Gnanajyoti
School, HAL East Extension Township, GBJ Colony, Marathahalli Post, Bangalore -
560 037. Ph: 080 25400037 on or before 7th March 2018 by 3.30 pm. Receipt of
application will be only through POST/Courier. Hand delivered applications will be
rejected.
The decision of the School Management (HAL Education Committee) is final on all
matters. It is to be noted that the above positions pertain to HAL Gnanajyoti School and
not that of HAL.
