2018 SPRING RECESS

All trip participants must be registered members of the RVC Recreation Department for the 2017-18 fiscal year. A permission slip and appropriate fee for
each trip must be submitted to the Rec. Center office for trip registration. Each trip/activity has a minimum and maximum enrollment. Registration is
accepted on a first come, first served basis. Please register early! If you register the day of the event, there will be a surcharge of $3 for in-house events
and $5 extra for off-site activities added to trip fee.
CHILDREN MUST MEET MINIMUM AGE REQUIREMENTS FOR EVENTS. PROOF OF AGE MAY BE REQUIRED.
TRANSPORTATION FOR OFF-SITE TRIPS WILL BE PROVIDED TO SITE FROM THE RECREATION CENTER BY VILLAGE BUS. CHILDREN
ATTENDING TRIPS MUST TAKE THE BUS TO TRIP DESTINATION AND BACK TO THE REC. CENTER. NO DROP OFFS.

THURSDAY MARCH 29
*PAINT DAY: at Wine and Design in RVC. Unleash your inner artist & paint your own masterpiece to hang up at home. Your child is guaranteed
to shine while painting on their own canvas. For grades 1 & UP TIME: 10:15am -12:15pm FEE: $30 per child pre-reg.

JUST FOR FUN: Have a Jumpin’-good-time with the JUST FOR FUN set-up in the gym, under the watchful eye of our Staff!
For ages 4-5-6 only, No adults, please TIME: 11:00am-12:15pm FEE: $12 per child pre-reg.

EGG COLORING: Children show their imagination in designing their own Easter Eggs and basket. The Rec. Dept. provides FOUR (4) eggs per
child + all materials. For grades K-5 TIME: 9:15-10:15am or 11:00am-12:00pm FEE: $8 per child pre reg participant does NOT need to bring eggs

*BOWLING at RVC Lanes: Two hours of bowling fun!, The snack bar will be open for purchases.
For grades K & UP TIME: 12:15-3:00pm FEE: $16 per child pre-reg.
*Transportation is by Village bus from the Rec Center. Child must travel with the Rec. Department to and from the off site activity.

FRIDAY MARCH 30
*BELLMORE MOVIE THEATRE: Let’s go to the Movies! See “A Wrinkle in Time” noshing on your very own small popcorn and beverage!
For grades K & UP TIME: 9:15am – 12:30pm FEE: $16 per child pre-reg.

JUST FOR FUN: Have a Jumpin’-good-time with the JUST FOR FUN set-up in the gym, under the watchful eye of our Staff!
For ages 4-5-6 only, No adults, please TIME: 11:00am-12:15pm FEE: $12 per child pre-reg.
SPRING GAME DAY: Come on down to the Rec for a session of sharks & seaweed, scatterball, steal the bacon, race chase and others.
For grades 1 & up TIME: 10:45am-12:15pm FEE: $12 per child pre-reg

*ADVENTURELAND, Farmingdale: Includes 3+ hours of unlimited rides. There is a height requirement for some rides. Snack bar is open
for purchases. For gr. 2 & up TIME: 12:30 - 5:30 pm FEE: $40 per child pre-reg. In case of inclement weather, we will go to Laser Bounce and return at 4:45pm.

*Transportation is by Village bus from the Rec Center. Child must travel with the Rec. Department to and from the off site activity.

MONDAY APRIL 2
*BOUNCE! TRAMPOLINE SPORTS, Syosset : This facility offers multiple jumping courts including foam pits, slam dunk basketball,
and an enormous main court. There are separate court areas for different age groups. **PARENTS MUST SIGN WAIVER**
For Gr. 1 & UP TIME: 9:00-12:45 FEE: $35 per child pre-reg.

DODGEBALL DAY #1: Kids will play many variations of dodgeball including doctor dodge, gaga, prison dodge, pinball and
more. For ages 7 & up: 11:15am-12:45pm FEE: $12 per child pre-reg.

*BOUNCE-U in Oceanside: Long Island’s Ultimate indoor inflatable destination with gigantic jaw-dropping inflatable structures.
PARTICIPANTS MUST WEAR SOCKS. For grades K & UP TIME: 10:00am –12:15pm FEE: $18 per child pre-reg.

*LI LASER BOUNCE, Levittown: Three hours of fun with bounce houses, arcade games and laser tag. Pizza and beverage lunch included.
