Abstract
This study aims to determine the provision of different feeds to improve the
growth and survival of betutu fish seed (Oxyeleotris marmorata). The research
was conducted on 01 - 30 June 2017, at Hatchery and Aquaculture Technology
Program, Aquaculture, Faculty of Agriculture, University of Malikussaleh, North
Aceh. The research design used was Completely Randomized Design (RAL) with
4 treatments and 3 replications and continued with Tukey if there were
differences. The treatments were: treatment A (earthworm), B (snail), C
(freshwater shell) and D (Pellet). The highest weight and length gain was found in
treatment B (snail) 2,167 gr and 0,671 cm. The lowest feed conversion was found
in the C (snail) treatment 1.057 and the highest was in the C (freshwater shell)
treatment 1.757. The highest survival was in treatment B (snail) 93.3%. During
this research the pH ranged from 6.80 to 8.03, the temperature was 26.90 -
29.200C and DO 6.80 - 8.10 mg / L.
