IGS-NT-PSC 1.9.0 New Features List 2

2 Changes in the version 1.9.0
2.1 Repairs
Rem Pgen CXY value now reacts appropriately on change of Power format

2.2 New Features

Indication of Level 1 and Level 2 alarms of other controllers on CAN2 added
Four new values
YelAlarmCAN16 - binary value indicating by log1 level 1 alarm for controllers 1 to 16
YelAlarmCAN32 - binary value indicating by log1 level 1 alarm for controllers 17 to 32
RedAlarmCAN16 - binary value indicating by log1 level 2 alarm for controllers 1 to 16
RedAlarmCAN32 - binary value indicating by log1 level 2 alarm for controllers 17 to 32
PSC will write into its history whenever it detects yellow or red alarm in other controllers on CAN2
The history record is: GEN## REDALARM or GEN## YELALARM (where ## is CAN2 address of a
controller with alarm 01..32)
PSC does not create history records for itself
The history record is created when the first alarm appears (if more alarms appear concurrently on one
controller only one history record is created for this controller)
IMPORTANT: The history record contains wrong power management values (if they are
present in the configuration of the record). Power management values from this record
are not to be used.

New value ActReserveAll added

Shows spinning reserve of the whole system (i.e. counting in gen-sets running in other modes than AUT)
New value ActResRelAll added
Shows relative spinning reserve of the whole system (i.e. counting in gen-sets running in other modes
than AUT)
Rem Pgen CXY values now show power regadless of the controller mode
New value Sum kWh added
This value shows kWh that are not shown in the value Sum MWh due to rounding
Support of 10th AIN module removed to prevent memory overflow
Dplus value removed (no function in PSC firmware)
It is now possible to set PulsecounterX statistics using LBI ImpCountSetX according to the new setpoint
ImpCountDefX
New automatic priority swapping mode EFFICIENT added
Similar function to standard IGS-NT firmware

IGS-NT-PSC 1.9.0 New Features List 3

It is now possible to set PulsecounterX to count in two different modes
Pulses/Count - previous functionality (it is necessary to detect x pulses before counter is increased
Counts/Pulse - new functionality (when a single pulse is detected the counter value increases of x)
The setting is realized by four new setpoints PulseCntrCharX (corresponding to the pulse counter
number individually)
There are four new LBOs PulseCounterX which by their activation signal overflow of according
PulseCounterX value

IGS-NT-PSC 1.9.0 New Features List 9

8 Changes in the version 1.6
8.1 New features
Load shedding based on frequency and on active power can now be used separately
New settings added to the setpoint Ld shed active
DISABLED - both load sheddings are disabled
BOTH - both load sheddings are enabled
KW LD SHED - only load shedding based on active power is enabled
F LD SHED - only load shedding based on frequency is enabled
Added support of new peripheries – communication protocol changed
New peripheries InteliAIN8, InteliAIN8TC and InteliIO8/8 (can be modified to InteliIO16/0) are now
supported.
Firmware upgrade of all I-CB communication bridges is needed because of change of communication
protocol due to support of new peripheries
Usage of any 3rdparty peripheral modules in cooperation with ComAp controller is not
recommended. ComAp can’t guarantee the proper function of controller with non-ComAp
peripheral modules.
New PLC block Delay ‘B’ is available
The new block offers the possibilaity of choice of time units of delay (s/min/h) with resolution 0.1 for all
possible units. The time accuracy for long delay has been significantly increased.
8 blocks Delay from total number of 24 available blocks was changed to Delay 'B'.
The PLC block PID Ana ‘C’ replaced the original block PID Ana
The parameter of block Period is now possible to link to setpoint or analog value (originally only constant
was possible).
Two new parameters of block, Low limit and High limit, has been added. If one of the limits on output of
regulator is reached, the integration (integral sum inside of regulator) is stopped to prevent the saturation
of regulator.
The PLC block Interp. Fc ‘B’ replaced the original block Interp. Fc
New Interp. Fc ‘B’ provides the possibility to define the interpolation by any analog value available inside
the controller (i.e. values, setpoints, PLC outputs etc. can be used as inputs for the definition of the
interpolation).
Interp. Fc ‘B’ features two new Binary Outputs OutOfRange (Oor) and DataInvalid (Err). Output Oor
activates when the Input value is out of range of the limits given by X1 and X2 inputs and the output of
the block is saturated on the value given by corresponding input Y1 or Y2. Output Err activates when
there are invalid data on any of the inputs of the PLC block.
There are 8 interpolation blocks available in the PSC firmware

IGS-NT-PSC 1.9.0 New Features List 10

New PLC block Math AxB/C added
This block performs mathematical operation (A times B) divided by C. If any of the inputs receives invalid
data, (-32768) is transmitted on the output and binary output Err (DataInvalid) activates. The same
situation occurs when the final result is out of the range of signed Integer16 (i.e. -32767 to 32767).
Another possibility of this is when division by 0 is required. More information about this function are
available in Application Guide or in context help in GenConfig.
Four “AxB/C” blocks are available
Distributed Binary Inputs and Outputs
Available in InteliGenNT Basebox, InteliGenNTC Basebox and InteliSysNT HW only
This function is available only for BaseBox type controllers.
Each controller can broadcast one set of eight Binary Outputs via CAN to all other controllers on the
same CAN.
Each controller can receive up to 32 sets of eight Binary Inputs via CAN (i.e. it can also receive its own
set of eight).
It is not possible to assign protection on DISTBIN outputs and it is not possible to change name of
DISTBIN and DISTBOUT (default names are DISTBIN-XY Z (where XY (01-32) is the address of the
source controller and Z is the number (1-8) of the actual Input and Output).
User MODBUS definition
Available in InteliGenNT Basebox, InteliGenNTC Basebox and InteliSysNT HW only
It is possible to define Mobus objects (registers 42873 to 43000). These objects than can be read or
written using their new register number. This can be particularly useful for batch reading or writing or for
standardizing the Modbus communication protocol.
User MODBUS definition in GenConfig can be exported to the file and then imported to another archive
which supports this function.
Modbus rewritable setpoints in InteliSysNTC Basebox
All setpoints of the controller has been moved to different part of memory (FRAM – allows up to 1014
records). Thanks to it it is possible the cyclic rewriting of any parameter of controller via Modbus without
the risk of demage of memory.
This feature is available in HW InteliSysNTC Basebox (IS-NTC-BB) only. The cyclic rewriting of
setpoints in all other HW variations of InteliGenNT/C or InteliSysNT can lead to the demage of
memory (FLASH – max. 105 records).
New definition of System Nominal Frequency
Nominal frequency for protections is now defined by setpoint Basic settings:Nominal freq which allows
user to select from list (50Hz, 60Hz) with offset given by Basic settings:Nom frq offset (from -2.0 to
+2.0). Effectively the range of the nominal frequency is now from 48.0Hz to 52Hz and from 58Hz to
62Hz. Both setpoints are available for Force Value function. Under and over frequency protections are
evaluated based on the System Nominal Frequency witch is given by addition Basic settings:Nominal
freq + Basic settings:Nom frq offset.
Maximum number of PLC blocks changed.
In GenConfig, total counter of blocks with Binary Output and Analog Output added (total maximum of
Binary Outputs in PLC is 128 and Analog Outputs 64).

IGS-NT-PSC 1.9.0 New Features List 12

8.2 Repairs
WebSupervisor is now supported properly
BusParams OK and AuxParams OK LBOs reaction repaired
In the previous version the Aux and Bus measurement were considered together (i.e. if Aux voltage was
out of range the Bus voltage was immediately also considered out of range and vice versa)
Wrong rounding of negative values in Math Fc and Ext Math Fc set to AVG fixed
Reset of the controller during Modbus reading of the history records longer than 18 characters prevented.
Modbus reading of history records longer than 18 characters caused reset of the controller.
Value Pwr management:ResStp rel shows correct values now.
In previous versions Value Pwr management:ResStp rel was not determined correctly. This had no
effect on the relative power management, but displayed values were faulty.
Bug causing controller to be permanently locked against inserting password repaired.
This bug occurred when system password is different from default password and the protection against
breaking password is activated.
When setpoints for IP address settings (Comms settings:IP address, Net mask and Gateway IP) are
password protected and IP address is obtained automatically (Comms settings:IP addr mode =
AUTOMATIC) by IB-COM, controller gets locked permanently displaying yellow warning
PassInsertBlck. The timer of this protection does not count down.
This occurs only with newer versions of IB-COM FW.
Note: IB-COM is built-in communication module in InteliGenNTC BaseBox and InteliSysNTC BaseBox.
