Workshop

The Assessment and Management of Wounds study day is aimed at all healthcare
practitioners involved in wound care. It will explore contemporary issues in wound
management including: quality indicators in tissue viability, wound assessment, and product
selection.

In attending the course, you will use simulated wounds to aid knowledge and skill
development, and gauge the impact wounds have on patients’ health and well-being.

Overview

It has been widely recognised that wound care management impacts greatly on NHS
resources, the patient and their significant others. For that reason, appropriate care in relation
to the assessment and management of wounds is an essential skill for all practitioners in a
healthcare setting.

The Assessment and Management of Wounds study day allows you to explore the subject of
wound management. You’ll benefit from expert training and tuition from industry professionals
and academics, and return to your workplace with this in-depth knowledge at your fingertips.

By the end of the wound management training course delegates will have a thorough
