PETRUS GLYCEROL SUPPOSITORIES B.P.

COMPOSITION:
Glycerol in a suppository base.

DESCRIPTION:
Infant’s suppositories: each contain glycerol 700mg.
Children’s suppositories: each contains glycerol 1.4g.
Adult’s suppositories: each contains glycerol 2.8g.

ACTION:
Laxative.

INDICATIONS:
For acute and temporary constipation in infants, children and adults.

PRECAUTIONS:
Chronic use of laxatives should be discouraged.

DOSAGE AND ADMINISTRATION:

Insert one suppository, well up in the rectum and allow to remain for 15-30 minutes.

STORAGE:
Store below 25˚C.
