Community Projects

Romulus Master Plan Regional planning efforts including both public and private
interests have the potential to generate significant future
growth. Partnerships with Wayne County and adjoining
communities have produced regional planning efforts such as
the Detroit Region Aerotropolis
City of Flat Rock Increase public access to the Huron River through acquisition
and enhancement of riverfront properties. River trailways
should be developed to provide river access and to provide a
path and linkage to local businesses, other open spaces, and
recreation areas.
Parks and Recreation Continued partnership with the various area public and private
Master Plan recreation providers. This includes collaborating and
Huron Township coordinating with the Metroparks.
