Dear Eller College Admissions Committee:

I am ecstatic to be given the opportunity to apply to the Eller College of Management with an emphasis in
Marketing. After seeing Eller students in action, I recognize the drive, professionalism, and passion
within the community. I chose to pursue a career in marketing because I grew up with entrepreneurial
parents. I have learned the importance of strong communication skills, and I know that these skills will be
strengthened through writing and verbal communication techniques in Eller. During my Eller experience,
I hope to achieve the skills to lead a marketing team, be a positive influence to my group members, and
achieve my short and long term goals. My past leadership endeavors and my drive to excel inside and
outside the classroom will enable me to positively contribute to the Eller College of Management.

Leadership has always been a strong asset of mine. While attending boarding school, I was chosen to be
diversity chair, one of the top 15 positions in the school. I orchestrated and organized a multitude of
diverse workshops campus-wide. In my Junior year at the University of Arizona, I was accepted into
Chain Gang, a prestigious junior honorary. As Social Chair within the organization, I plan events,
dinners, social gatherings, and bonding activities. I sit on the Executive board where I am responsible for
maintaining a yearly budget.

As Vice President of Sisterhood within my sorority, I manage a $10,000 budget, plan family weekend,
sisterhood events, and promote unity among the Panhellenic community. In 2016, I worked as an intern at
a country club which hosted the Volvik LPGA championship. As the only female in the workplace, I
enhanced my customer service skills, fast thinking mind set, and learned to adapt to a new and exciting
environment. In 2017, I interned at a marketing a public relations firm, gaining experience in market
research, professional social media, and website search engine optimization. I learned how the typical
marketing firm works, and found inspiration in the female dominant staff.

I will utilize my skills and leadership experiences to be successful in the Eller College of Management.
My background, drive, and leadership abilities will match the exciting and successful atmosphere of Eller.
I am easily adaptable, and I am ready to face the challenges that Eller will bring. Thank you for taking the
