Strengths observed
- Expectations have been set at the start of the class (iPads, Phones etc...) - Organisation... - Really good having stopping the guys from
talking when Adina was talking, good with a dominant class - Discussion was good, you were prompting good discussion with the class,
checked work (is it too standard) - Finally got students to take earphones out. - Good seeign through keeping students in till they are
done

Areas for further development

- Seeing through expectations (If they haven't opended book yet, not doing work what is next step? *You took Pacey's book just as I
wrote this) - Options, in at lunchtime, take things off them, move seats, minutes on the board.... - How are you going to keep hem
engaged in the activity? - Take all iPads, phones, books etc.. - How do you get students to do what you ask them to first time? It is
through holding high expectations at all times, rewarding desired beahviours and discpline undisired behaviours consistantly (no one is
perfect at this) - Structuring tasks so that students understand what is exepcted of them with the work.

General comments
- Good lesson with hard group of boys that can dominate the class in a negative way. These are the times you can draw on the
relationship you have formed by putting forth some consequences. Your work, organisation and rapport with students is fantastic. You just
need to work on following through with expectations quickly before they get to see what they can get away with. Well done!!

This analysis should be discussed with the pre-service teacher as soon as possible following the lesson and signed by both to indicate that this
