Twice a week for a total of four hours, I worked with 8th grade general
history and pre-AP history students as a practicum student. While this
subject is not my content area, I gained classroom management skills and

During my university career, I majored in Languages, Literatures, and


Cultures with a concentration in French. Throughout my time at CSU, I
have taken multiple French courses (can provide a detailed list if
necessary) including grammar and composition, phonetics and
linguistics, culture, literature, and writing. Simultaneously, I participated
in the Center For Educator Preparation to obtain my teaching license. This
program included multiple practicum and lab experiences with students
in Poudre School District as well as teaching methodology and classroom
technology classes.

During this semester of my university career, I attended 20 hours of class


per week taught exclusively in French at the B2 level. These classes
included 10 hours a week of language and composition with one professor
as well as four elective courses with a variety of subjects, including
Francophone cinema, intensive writing practice, mythology, and
literature studies.
