Obtaining Buildings on Rent/ Lease

Contract No: CB/PO/NCB/02/2018
Sealed quotations are hereby invited for obtaining a suitable building on rent/lease basis for office use for period
of two years. The building shall comply with the following requirement and facilities.
 The required buildings shall be located in Colombo 07, Colombo 05, Colombo 08 and Battaramulla
area.
 Floor area shall be not less than 2500 sq.ft.
 Adequate parking space shall be available within the building premises for at least for two vehicles.
 Shall be in a well-protected area with pipe-borne water, electricity, good sanitary facilities and
sewerage systems.
 Preference will be given for buildings with telephone, garage, air conditioning / electric fans etc.
Self-prepared tender forms giving the expected monthly rent/lease, terms and conditions, existing facilities,
extent of the building, proof of the ownership etc. should be sent in a sealed cover by registered post along with
a photocopy of the building plan to reach the following address or be placed in the Tender Box made available
in this office on or before 26th April 2018 at 14:00 hrs. “Quotations for Rent/ Lease for Office Building”
shall be written on the top left-hand corner of the cover. The quotations will be opened immediately after closing
time in the presence of Bidder or their representative who choose to attend.
The Senior Procurement Committee reserves the right to accept or reject one or all tenders or a part thereof. The
owner of the relevant building should be agreeable to enter into an agreement with the CECB in respect of this
tender. Further particulars can be obtained from the office of the Procurement Officer at Head Office, Central
Engineering Consultancy Bureau, during normal weekdays from 8:30 hrs to 16:15 hrs, or over telephone 011
