EXPLANATION OF TRANSFORMER LEGEND
Letters preceding the oblique stroke indicate the use of the tranaformer,
9. AL = anode to lin, AAG = 2 anodes to grid, AAL = 2 anodes to line,
AGG = anode to 2 grids, LG = line to grid, LL = line to line
The letters C, P, Ry S, etc, following the design number indicate the
size of core. Cores of tuice the normal thickness are indicated by 2C,
2P, etc.
R and § size transformers ara a
particular assembly is denoted by a suffix letter as follous:—
R size A = Mumetal case, underside wiring '
B= Munetal case, topside wiring
€ = Bakelite cass, underside wiring
D = Bakelite cass, topside wiring

Open assembly with mounting brackets, topside wiring
8 size Mumetal case, 6 tags max, topside or underside uiring
Qpen assembly, side mounting, 6 tegs max, topside wiring
