One or more of the selected features require OPC core components redistributable (x86).

However, Aspen TEch Instaler could not install it successfully. please install it manually from
the DVD disk and then return to the Aspen Tech installer to click" button. The install kit on the
DVD is: core\OPC Core componenents Redistributable (X86).msi

This may not work for my customers who will be installing this kit on machines which are
isolated from the internet. How can I overcome this problem?

The core components do not require internet access. The installer does not “require” internet
access either (we’re not tracking you) but I think there may be checks that you have the
appropriate .NET Framework available and that it “might” be trying to call Microsoft to detect
and/or download it.

The zip file contains the core components .msi and a setup.bat. The setup.bat installs .net. I
will just include .net in my product distributon.

Another install of this package is already running. Please wait for the other install to finish
before reinstalling this package
