Stage/ Time Task

Set Induction 1. Teacher shows a video to the pupils

(5 minutes) 2. Teacher shows the sentences in the video which content
'because.
3. Teacher asks questions and guide pupils to say out the word
'because'.
Presentation 1. Teacher show power point presentation.
(20 Minutes) 2. In the presentation, there are many examples of using 'because'
to join two sentences.
3. Teacher shows how to join two sentences.
4. Teacher shows where to put a capital letters and full stop.
Practise 1. Teacher shows two sentences on the board.
(5 minutes) 2. Teacher asks pupils come and try to combine the sentences into
one sentences with the word 'because'.
3. Teacher asks pupils to put the correct punctuation in the
sentence.
Production 1. Teacher divides pupils into six groups.
(25 Minutes) 2. Teacher gives each groups an envelope.
3. In the envelope, there are few sentences.
4. Teacher asks pupils to combine the sentences in the groups.
5. After arrange the sentences, pupils need to paste the sentences
in a colour paper.
6. Pupils need to read out the sentences in the group.
7. Every groups will take turn to read the sentences.
Closure 1. Teacher gives pupils a revision exercise.
(5 Minutes) 2. Pupils do the revision exercise.
