Penn State Libraries, Arts & Humanities Library Reference Assistant July 2016 – December 2017
■ Responsible for distribution, organization, and maintenance of Music and Media Center collection in Pattee Library,
including all music scores, as well as DVDs, VHS, cassettes, CDs, and vinyl records
! Familiarity with cataloging using Library of Congress system, as well as internal, date-based catalogue system
■ Other miscellaneous tasks: answering phones for live telecasts, editing, summary & analysis, reviews, etc.
■ Substantial responsibility as one of only two employees in the store at any time: dealing with customer complaints, opening
and closing duties, checking stock and deliveries, maintaining cash drawer
■ Team cooperation and leadership as part of the “assembly line” format of sandwich making, customer service aspect of
food service, and experience training new employees at tasks I am familiar with

Penn State Statesmen August 2014 – present
■ Music Director/Vice-President (January 2015 – August 2017) & Executive Director (August 2017 – present) – leading
rehearsals (4-6 hours/week), principal arranger, repertoire selection, managing publicity and social media (e.g. concert posters,
Facebook, Instagram), planning performances, liaison for outside parties
■ Frequent performances around community at venues including the President’s Tailgate & Suite and distinguished alumni
award ceremonies; creating studio & live recordings of performances & original arrangements, with a music video release in
October 2015 and full-length album release in December 2017

Penn State Concert Choir August 2014 – present
■ Served past year as Vice-President and Tour Manager – managing a top-tier choral ensemble in Penn State School of Music
with 40+ members, ensuring the section leaders are sufficiently performing their duties, organizing travel to conferences
(including 2015 ACDA-PA Conference) as well as international tour to Canada in March 2016
■ Several high-profile performances throughout the state and country, including with the Rolling Stones on their Zip Code tour
(May 2015); the 2015 President’s Concert in the Kimmel Center in Philadelphia, PA; various university functions
■ Various performances around campus including singing at tailgates (including being featured at the President’s Tailgate and
singing for the Irish American Football Association), performing for pep rallies and other Penn State events, the American
Choral Directors’ Association National Conference in Baltimore, and the Intercollegiate Men’s Choruses Conference at
Rutgers University
■ President of Penn State’s chapter (January 2017-present) – organizing workshops with faculty & relaying relevant & up-to-
date information to rest of chapter
■ Maintaining office hours at Redifer Commons for care package pick up, toiletry sales, and answering any questions or
offering any help necessary
■ Community Builder team: help with the production of a Lip Dub, scavenger hunt and final bow activities, welcoming families
and doing first night training
